Bright Dog Days exists to help owners make safer, calmer next decisions—not to amplify fear, dominance stories or miracle promises.
Reward-based by default
We publish and recommend approaches built around reinforcing useful behaviour, managing the environment and protecting the dog's physical and emotional welfare. We do not promote shock collars, prong collars, leash jerks, alpha rolls, intimidation or pain-based interruption.

Every behaviour guide names its sources and review date. We prefer veterinary-behaviour organisations, welfare bodies and appropriately qualified practitioners. When evidence or context is limited, the wording should say so.
A clear line around competence
Bright Dog Days is an educational publisher, not a veterinary practice, training service or individual behaviour clinic. Pain, sudden change, serious fear, aggression, repeated panic and bite risk belong with a veterinarian and an appropriately qualified professional.
Products earn their place
A commission never makes a product suitable. Training courses are inspected before recommendation. We reject fabricated urgency, impossible outcomes and methods that conflict with these standards—even when the payout is attractive.
Corrections stay visible
If a material statement is wrong, we correct it and record the review date. Readers can flag a concern through the Contact page.
